Facebook launches avatars in sub-Saharan Africa:
After Australia, avatars, small customizable digital characters from the American giant Facebook, are now available in Africa. It's a dynamic new way to express yourself online. "You can use your avatar in many ways, including comments, stories, Messenger and soon posts with a background. With such a wide range of emotions and expressions, avatars allow you to share your reactions and feelings with family and friends through the application. You can customize your avatar with hairstyles, skin tones, outfits, COVID-19 support stickers and much more," says the American giant in a press release.

61% of viewers prefer free content with advertising:
A study carried out in France by the research firm Statista reveals that 70% of viewers are inclined to watch advertisements to access free content, and that 61% of respondents say they would prefer free content supported by advertising rather than paying a streaming subscription.
