Ramadan 2022: DACIA launches "Ftoor Lwalid" in Morocco:

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Dacia brand has come up with an activation inspired by habits to highlight this period during which Moroccans gather with their families around the ftour. Indeed, the Romanian brand has launched "Ftoor Lwalid" to pay tribute to the mother, the wife, the sister, the daughter and the aunt. Indeed, during the month of Ramadan, the woman is often in charge of preparing the ftour meal to gather all family members around the table and break the fast. DACIA has therefore imagined a father and his children preparing the Fridays meal at the wheel of the New Logan as a surprise for his wife. A way of thanking her for all the efforts she makes on a daily basis. As a reminder, in 2019, DACIA launched the "Ftour m3a Lwalida" concept by honouring mothers. In 2021, the brand returned with a "Ftour Lwalida" format adjusted to the context marked by travel restrictions.

Twitter: Misleading climate ads now banned:

On International Earth Day, Twitter announced that "misleading" ads about climate change would now be banned, so as not to undermine efforts to protect the environment. "We believe that climate scepticism should not be used to generate revenue on Twitter, and that misleading ads should not distract from important conversations about the climate crisis," the social network said in a statement. Ads that "contradict the scientific consensus" on the subject will no longer be allowed to run, the network said. To arbitrate, Twitter will use data from the IPCC, the UN's climate experts. In early April, this authoritative body published new reports showing that humans were "indisputably" responsible for global warming, which has increased by about +1.1°C since the pre-industrial era. It is expected to reach +1.5°C or +1.6°C around 2030, a decade earlier than previously estimated, with devastating consequences.

Meta opens its first physical store to test the metaverse!

After Apple Store, here comes the Meta Store. The parent company of Facebook has just announced the opening of the "Meta Store", its first physical store. This one will aim at introducing Oculus VR headsets (the brand owned by the Meta group) and offering to customers who wish to immerse themselves in the metaverse to discover the benefits of this virtual world. Indeed, the American company spent billions of dollars last year via Facebook Reality Labs to finance this project. Customers will be able to try out different products, as well as those of virtual reality (VR) with a dedicated area. The VR demos will be projected on a giant curved LED screen in the store for other customers to watch, says the U.S. chain. For his first store, Meta's founder decided to choose the city of Burlingame, California, a location that was not selected by chance, as Meta's Reality Labs headquarters is located only a few miles from the store! The inauguration will take place on May 9th at 322 Airport Blvd, the store will be accessible from Monday to Friday from 11am to 6pm. Zuckerberg chose a 144 m2 space, Meta deduced that it was more than enough to showcase its products and welcome about 50 curious people at the same time.
