Attijariwafa bank Europe's branches are undergoing a makeover:
Attijariwafa bank Europe has just begun to overhaul its distribution model, by implementing a new "agency" model to better serve its customers, announced the European subsidiary of the Attijariwafa bank Group in a statement. The new Attijariwafa bank Europe branches now feature "modern internal spaces with new furniture, new internal and external packaging and dynamic signage" and offer "an efficient route, governed by an interactive digital terminal (the directory) that directs customers, according to their needs, to the three new areas located within the branches", the statement said.

Crédit du Maroc joins forces with the EBRD and launches the "Green Value Chain":
Crédit du Maroc has just launched its new "Green Value Chain" (GVC) offer, a product for financing green value chains for SMEs. The bank thus formalized its partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on April 2, 2019 to create this offer, Crédit du Maroc said in a statement. He added that through this cooperation, the bank is strengthening its CSR positioning in favour of the development of green energy, continues the same source, noting that as an important player in financing the national economy, Crédit du Maroc is part of the Kingdom's strategy to develop renewable energy resources.


Smart City Expo: Digital technology as a lever for global transformation of public action:
The use of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) can be considered as a lever for the global transformation of society and public action, aimed in particular at developing digital services for the benefit of citizens, said participants at the fourth edition of Smart City Expo Casablanca, which opened last Wednesday in the metropolis. Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline: decrease in royalties collected by Morocco:
At the end of the first quarter, royalties received by Morocco on the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline fell by 9.5% compared to the same period in 2018, according to the Kingdom's General Treasury (TGR). Morocco received MAD 436 million. This figure represents 28.9% of the expected annual royalties expected for 2019. By the end of 2018, royalties paid to Morocco had reached an amount of 1.53 billion, which represented a significant increase compared to 2017, when the Kingdom had received 1.01 billion. This increase reflected an increase in Algerian gas exports to Europe through the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline.
